Update, 17 October 2026: we're moving our managed mail from Postmark to Lettermint, a Dutch provider hosted in Europe. The changes are struck through below.
We provide several ways to deliver notifications and other critical emails from your platform. These are the options we recommend and support:
1. Bring your own transactional provider
When it fits: if you already use a provider. If you are happy with services like SendGrid, Mailgun, or Amazon SES, you can keep using the setup you know.
Benefits: full control over configuration and cost plus access to the advanced features your provider offers. Customers who also send broadcast campaigns usually already have a suitable supplier.
Trade-off: requires a bit of technical integration work, but we are happy to assist.
2. CoffeeSprout-managed mail via Postmark Lettermint
When it fits: if you'd rather not deal with mail setup. We integrate Postmark Lettermint for you so there is no need to worry about technical details.
This is especially useful for sites that submit occasional forms; they are sent via our internal domain so you do not need to adjust your own mail configuration.
Benefits: fast delivery and a provider that only does transactional mail. Postmark focuses on transactional messages and provides detailed analytics, delivery analytics, and a provider that is built in the Netherlands, hosts in Europe and is ISO 27001 certified.
Why we don’t sell inboxes
We choose not to offer mailbox services. Providers like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 do that well. We stick to hosting and platform operations.
